Lisa is Principal and Founder of Star HR Consulting, LLC. She brings deep subject matter expertise and a collaborative style to organizations. She partners with leaders throughout the employee life cycle from onboarding to talent development, and succession planning. As a career coach, she specializes in working with individuals looking to make a career transition. She brings deep subject matter expertise and a collaborative style to help individuals navigate the job search through resume development, social presence. networking and interview coaching. Prior to founding the firm, Lisa spent over 25 years in the Human Resources field leading a variety of functions including recruitment, talent management, employee relations, compensation, employee development, human resources systems and human resources services. In her most recent role, she served as head of Global Human Resources Shared Services for Manulife and John Hancock. Lisa currently serves as the Chapter Leader for the Plymouth, MA chapter of the Women's Business League. She is a member of the Executive Leadership Committee for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, Boston. She is a certified practitioner of Hogan and Facet 5 Personality Assessments. She is also a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), The Pembroke Area Chamber of Commerce, and the South Shore Women's Network. Over the years she has attained her Advanced Professional Director of the American College of Corporate Directors certification, the Certified Compensation Professional certification from World at Work and her Senior Professional of HR certification from the Society for Human Resources Management. She previously served as a member of the Community Board for the South Shore Conference for Women. Lisa has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Bridgewater State University. She has served as a mentor for young professionals and a service trip leader for the Appalachia Service Project. When she is not focusing on the needs of her clients, she is a wife and mom who advocates for women’s issues and diabetes.
